A 96-question research-backed profile across 24 character strengths, using the balanced and culture-fair public-domain IPIP-VIA-R short scales.

This assessment uses the 96 items in the 24 Balanced and Culture-Fair IPIP-VIA-R Short Scales developed by Bluemke, Partsch, Saucier, and Lechner (2021).

Each strength is measured by four items: two positively keyed and two negatively keyed. The short scales were evaluated in quality-filtered German and U.K. samples with test-retest and omega reliability estimates reported by the IPIP project.

Inward Atlas transforms each four-item score to 0–100 for readability. These display scores are not population percentiles and should not be interpreted as rankings against other people.
